ABOUT THE CLUB

At SNCC we are proud to have put cricket back on the map in East London, creating a thriving home for the sport, and for the club, on Hackney Marshes.

Our expanding adult section, fielding four teams, is now enjoying considerable success and since our establishment in 1999, we’ve become one of the most successful junior clubs in the capital, with our U9 to U17 teams regularly winning their local leagues and challenging for County titles.

Our mission is to give as many adults and young people as possible the chance to enjoy and play cricket to the highest standard they can achieve, with year-round weekly training sessions under the guidance of our dedicated team of professional coaches.

In 2018, thanks to Hackney Council, the English Cricket Board and Football Foundation, the club received a massive boost with the opening of a new pavilion, nets and car park at Hackney Marshes.

We look forward to welcoming all new members – aged 5 to 105 – to London’s fastest growing cricket club. Find out full details on how to join
